ABOUT ME

I am a fully accredited member of the UKCP (UK Council for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and my core qualifications include an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy, BSc (hons) in Psychology and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision.

I have been providing short term and long term counselling and psychotherapy since 2006 in a variety of settings including the NHS, third sector organisations, schools/colleges as well as private practice. My experience covers a wide range of mental health and emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma, loss/grief, self-harm, suicide, sexuality, and personality disorders. I also have specialist knowledge in trauma, eating related issues, substance misuse, and working with adolescents/young people.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist I draw upon key elements from the latest neuroscience, combined with attachment/relational approaches, psychodynamic theory, transactional analysis, CBT, mindfulness and somatic therapy. With a variety of tools and experience at my disposal I am better able to tailor the therapy to each client's needs and specific challenges they face.
